Job Type: Full time
Salary: $4,000 – $5,500 per month
Main Job Responsibilities
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes/ containers
- Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc
- Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements
- Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping
- Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident
- Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during the course of work
- Proper handling of company assets and equipment
- Submit driver’s D/O on a daily basis
- Check and update vehicle daily checklist
- Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises
- Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers’ premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers)
Job Requirements
- Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving licence
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore
- Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements
- Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations
- Familiar with container yard operations
- Familiar with Low Bed trucking
- Good time management
- Self-motivated
- Good team player
- Hardworking, positive attitude and committed to work
- Accident free and clean driving records
