JOB DESCRIPTION

The Logistic Driver primary responsible to transport products from our warehouse to designated delivery points and ensuring the safe & efficient distribution of goods.

Job Title Logistic Driver (Part Time)

This job responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

Safe Operation of Delivery Vehicles, Care and Maintenance
• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct routines vehicles inspections to ensure worthiness, report any issue and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.

Deliver Schedule Adherence
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatchers and logistic coordinator to update them on progress and any delays.

Product Handing and Loading
• Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transportation.
• Load and unload goods onto/from the vehicle, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
• Ensure wine conditions are good, verify labels and confirm the stated volume of wine in, upon delivery.
• Assist in arranging and packing stocks.

Customer Service
• Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery points.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service, answer inquiries, and address any delivery-related concerns.

Documentation and Records
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, invoices, and any other required documentation.
• Submit delivery-related paperwork promptly and in accordance with company procedures.

Product Quality and Security
• Ensure the quality and security of wine products during transit, including temperature-sensitive products.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with delivered products.

Management, Organize & Maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of product quantities and locations in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular stock checks and updates to ensure product availability.
• Pick and pack products for customers and stores order accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare orders for delivery in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Label and arrange wine inventory in a way that facilitates quick identification and easy access.
• Maintain the quality of wine products by adhering to proper storage conditions including temperature and humidity control.
• Communicate efficiently with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations.

Receiving, Inspection, Shipping and Distribution
• Receive and inspect incoming wine shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Report any discrepancies, damage, or quality issues promptly.
• Coordinate the loading and uploading of delivery vehicles.

Safety and Compliance
• Comply with safety protocols, including the secure handling of alcohol products and adherence to applicable regulations.
• Follow company policies and guidelines for vehicle safety and security.
• And any other logistic-related tasks as required.
• Flexible work schedule to be discussed with In-charge. Warehouse open from Monday to Saturday (5.5days per week. Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm & Saturday half day 9am to 1pm)
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Class 3 driving licence. (Van)
• Well organized, positive work attitude and good team player
• Physically Fit, as carrying of heavy goods is needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
