Location: Penjuru Road (Industrial Area near Jurong East), Singapore
Job Summary:
The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods, equipment, or materials to and from warehouses, ports, or client locations. The role involves operating heavy vehicles safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to all road safety and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive 10-foot, 14-foot, or 24-foot trucks, depending on cargo needs
- Load and unload goods safely at pickup and delivery points
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Report any delays, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly
- Comply with all traffic rules and workplace safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence
- Minimum 1–2 years of truck driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with Penjuru Road, Jurong, Tuas, and industrial zones
- Ability to read and understand delivery orders and manifests
- Physically fit and able to assist in loading/unloading when required
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shift hours if needed
